Apparently while dining at Cafe La Perle in the Marais district in Paris (Galliano's neighborhood), Christian Dior creative director John Galliano began an unsolicited conversation with a couple seated at a table nearby.
The annoyed male eventually turned to Galliano and allegedly said "You're ugly, you're disgusting, move away from here."
OMG! No he DIDN'T!!
A horrified Galliano allegedly retaliated with a stinging remark to the man's female companion: "You're ugly, and your bag is ugly too!".
SNAP!
Witnesses say Galliano eventually blurted out some anti-Semitic remarks, and police were called.
As a result of this incident, the suits at the house of Dior decided to suspend John Galliano from his position until further notice citing a "zero tolerance" policy regarding racism and anti-semitism.
Being that Paris fashion week is coming up, what will happen?
I guess he is considered to be a 24 hour ambassador for the company so what he says and or does is seen as a direct reflection of the house of Dior.
